If you are looking for a fun and varied volunteer opportunity, this one is for you - no two days are the same at our retail warehouse! We are looking for a warehouse assistant who can support our retail operation, helping to keep the retail services running across our county.

Brief description of main tasks and activities
Typically this role involves:
- Sorting donated items including clothes, books, bric-a-brac, electrical goods and furniture
- Assisting with moving goods in the warehouse (within capability)
- Assisting with general housekeeping of the warehouse, ensuring everything is clean, tidy and well organised
- Sorting and picking donations for distribution to our shops
- PAT testing of electrical items (if applicable)
- Support the selling of donated items online, e.g. Ebay
You do not need any specific experience of qualifications to carry out the role of a Warehouse Assistant, you will learn during the role and be supported by the team.
