Weekly Prize Draw

You will be entered into the draw upon receipt of your first payment, and then every draw as long as you have sufficient credit in your Weekly Prize Draw account. Our lottery software randomly produces the outcome of the draw using a Random Number Generator and a winning number can only be selected once in the same draw.

All prizes are guaranteed to be won each week with the exception of the rollover prize. When we run the draw for our 3^rd prize (rollover) our lottery software reduces the likelihood of winning that prize. If the rollover is not won the prize money is rolled-over to the next draw and the 3^rd prize increases by £250. If the rollover reaches £10,000 we guarantee the prize will be won in that week’s draw.

Direct Debit payment method reduces our administration costs, which means even more of your £1 goes towards patient care.

The minimum payment is £4.34 per month.

There is no need to claim, we’ll automatically post a cheque with your winnings to your home address.  We might telephone to check we have your correct details and let you know you’ve won but we will never contact you by text message or ask you provide your bank details.

Yes, you must be over 18 years of age to play and pay by Direct Debit. This is a legal requirement.

Yes, we have fundraisers working throughout Somerset promoting our Weekly Prize Draw and they might knock on your door or you might see them working in or outside a local shop or at an event.  We’d love it if you could spare them a few minutes of your time for them to tell you about St Margaret’s and our Weekly Draw.  Our fundraisers will always have an identification badge and their clothes will normally have our logo.  We have measures in place to ensure that they are fundraising in a Covid-secure way so please call us if you want any additional reassurance, or want to discuss anything about them.

You can cancel your membership at any time by calling the Lottery Office on 01823 365620 or emailing lottery.office@st-margarets-hospice.org.uk. If you still have credit on your account you will be entered into the draw until your credit expires after which the membership will be cancelled.

Yes, we may telephone you to check your details when you join, if there are issues with your payment, or to let you know that you’ve won a prize.
