Different ways to donate
Depending on how you are raising funds, there are a number of ways you can send in your donations so that we can put your funds to good use straight away.
The easiest and most convenient way is to make your donation online. Don’t forget to tell us what your donation is for by leaving a comment when you make the payment. Make your online donation here.
If you have set up an online fundraising page on a platform like Just Giving, Enthuse, or Facebook you don’t need to do a thing! Your donations are sent directly to us, including Gift Aid (if you or your sponsors are eligible). As soon as all the funds are collected and transferred, we will send you a letter acknowledging the amount you have raised for us.
You can also bank money yourself and make a bank transfer to:
Bank: Barclays Taunton
Account Number: 40773719
Sort Code: 20-87-24
Reference: YOUR NAME*
*Please make sure you include your name as the reference so that we can ensure the money goes towards your fundraising.
You can still send us a cheque in the post. Please make cheques payable to St Margaret’s Somerset Hospice, and send them to our fundraising team in Yeovil:
- Send to: St Margaret’s Hospice Care Yeovil, Fundraising Department, Little Tarrat Lane, Yeovil, BA20 2HU
Please remember to include your name, address, and a note about how the funds were raised (Colour Run, London Marathon etc.), plus any sponsorship forms (if you have any). Please do not post cash – we suggest that you bank the funds yourself and donate it online or post us a cheque.
If you have any queries about sending a donation or paying in sponsorship, please call our Supporter Experience team on 01935 709485 and they will be happy to help. Alternatively, please email [email protected].
Please don’t forget to include a completed Gift Aid Declaration form with your donation, if eligible.
What is Gift Aid? If you are a UK taxpayer, we can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you give. It will not cost you any extra. Please remember to let us know if your tax status, name or address changes, or if you wish to cancel your Gift Aid declaration. Click here for more information about Gift Aid.
Thank you for choosing to support St Margaret’s. The money you have raised will make a real difference to those in our care across Somerset.
