Our Family & Patient Support Service offers psychological and emotional therapy, supporting patients and their families during their illness and into their bereavement.
The team have a background working with adults, children and have experience in supporting families when a special person in their life has a life-limiting illness or has died. In one-to-one, small or large groups, the team offer art psychotherapy, family sessions, counselling and therapeutic support.
At the family’s request the team link with schools, professionals and others involved in supporting young people. We provide opportunities for children and families to come together.
Samsara
Samsara is our children and young people's bereavement service, helping them after the death of their parent. Working creatively to help children individually and in groups to explore and make sense of their emotions, developing ways of coping when things are confusing or difficult.
