Katy has twenty-six years’ experience with Save the Children and the UN, across sectors and mostly in Africa and Asia. She is currently the Fund Director and Head of Project for a Livelihoods and Resilience fund in Afghanistan, providing work and support to millions of vulnerable families. Prior to that she was Director for a multi-donor trust fund in Myanmar, working with local and international organisations to reduce poverty and improve nutrition. Katy and her family have now returned to the UK, settled in the South West, and Katy is proud to have the opportunity to support St Margaret's Hospice.
