Our Bereavement Support Service is available to anyone who is affected by the death of a loved one who has been cared for by St Margaret’s Hospice Care.
Bereavement is a very individual experience and there is no right or wrong way to react. It can be a painful and difficult time and you may have thoughts and feelings that you did not expect. We understand that everyone deals with the death of a loved one in a different way and can offer telephone support, individual appointments, counselling, or ‘loss of a partner’ group sessions.
St Margaret’s Bereavement Support is also a specialist information point for anyone in Somerset. We have an enquiry line which is open to anyone affected by a bereavement of any kind. We will listen, giving you an opportunity to talk about your experience and any concerns and can offer information about where to find the support you need.
The Bereavement Support Service additionally serves as a specialist resource for all health, education and social care professionals who feel they need specialist advice.
Please call 01935 709497 if you feel that our Bereavement Support Service can help you in any way.
