In 2020, Barclays donated £100,000 towards the running costs of our 24/7 adviceline, which has become a lifeline for patients, families and healthcare providers during the coronavirus pandemic. Graham Austin, Barclays Head of SME, South West, said:

Clarke Willmott were delighted to be able to support a cause as worthwhile as St Margaret’s, a charity that provides inspirational support to members of our local community.  The team volunteered at the 2023 Colour Run Remix event by cheering participants on, collecting donations and serving refreshments.

''At the UK Hydrographic Office, our volunteers in the UKHO Charity Committee ask our staff choose a charity to support for two years. We ask for nominations from charity champions across the organisation and put this to an all-staff vote. St Margaret’s was successful in our 2024 vote and will be our nominated charity for 2024-25. The charity is supported purely through fundraising and donations from our staff, through a variety of events such as bake sales, quizzes, and sponsored activities.

Our charity champions nominated St Margaret’s Hospice owing to personal connections with the charity and this was echoed through the vote, with so many lives in the local area touched by the work of St Margaret’s, it is a pleasure to be able to fundraise for such a worthy cause that supports our local community.''

HOST have chosen to support St Margaret's Hospice again this year for their 2024 Move-a-thon fundraiser. The Hospice has had such a significant impact on some of our team members whose loved ones were cared for by them over the last year. They felt the level of care and service provided was completely invaluable to them and their families, during what was such an emotional and difficult time. The team now want to take the opportunity to give something back, and to say thank you, by raising money so the hospice can continue their fantastic work for other families who may need them in the future.

Blackdown Financial are kindly supporting St Margaret's Hospice Care for our annual Santa Abseil, as the 2024 event headline sponsor. Blackdown believe in the importance of our charities mission and have continuously supported the hospice over many years by taking part in other events such as the Cricket Bash and Colour run. Director Simon Cutler has also been kind enough to produce a videoed case study to tell his personal story and how the hospice helped during this time.

Buses of Somerset are delighted to be supporting this wonderful charity and in particular their Christmas Tree Collection Fundraiser! We are looking forward to working closely with St Margaret’s Hospice to raise the awareness of this festive initiative to the local community. This is a particularly exciting collaboration for us as we appreciate how important community and support is at a time like Christmas, as well as the environmental benefits that come with Christmas Tree collection.
