Volunteering Admin Support Volunteer

St Margaret’s is looking for someone to join the Volunteering Team to support with administrative duties.

Day: Monday

Ideal time commitment: 4 hours

Location: Taunton Hospice Hub

St Margaret’s are looking for people to join the team who will bring their skills, talent and enthusiasm to the heart of our organisation as we respond to the changing needs of our community.

The Volunteering Team are looking for someone who can support the whole team. From supporting the Volunteer Manager, Recruitment Lead or Experience Coordinator with various projects and tasks.

 

What you will be doing

  • Entering and/or analysing data
  • Recruitment Support
  • Preparing information packs
  • Electronic filing and scanning
  • Answering and responding to phone calls and emails
  • Ad hoc Reception Support.

 

Skills, experience and personal qualities most suited to the role

  • Use of IT systems and databases
  • Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • A high standard of communication skills and customer service
  • Ability to work as part of a team.

What we need from you

  • A minimum commitment of 6 months
  • As part of our commitment to safer volunteer recruitment practices, volunteers interested in this role, will be required to provide two references and attend an interview
  • Applicants will need to be 18+ to carry out this volunteer role.
