Why we need you

Our Chard charity shop needs your help. Our shops cannot run without volunteers. Everyone has something to offer in our shops, be it an interest in fashion, bric-a-brac, furniture, a flair for display, a knack of mixing with people, experience of retail work, a knowledge of antiques and collectables, IT skills, eBay knowledge, or just sheer enthusiasm

What you will be doing

The roles you would carry out include:

• Serving customers
• Working behind the till
• Sorting donations
• Pricing and displaying stock
• Back room sorters
• Steamers

What we need from you

• A minimum commitment of 1 day a week for 6 months
• As part of our commitment to safer volunteer recruitment practices, volunteers interested in this role, will be required to provide two references and attend an interview.
• Applicants will need to be 18+ to carry out this volunteer role.
