Retail Volunteer

Would you like to give some of your time, or have been thinking about volunteering for St Margaret’s Hospice Care for a while? We would love to hear from you!

Our shops, ebay and warehouse operations could not run without volunteers. The roles they carry out include serving customers, working behind the till, sorting donations in the warehouse ready for distribution, pricing and displaying stock, taking pictures for ebay, and so much more! We also have roles available in our warehouse and with our furniture collection team.

Everyone will have something to offer in our shops be it an interest in fashion, bric-a-brac or furniture, a flair for display, a love for mixing with people, previous experience in retail, a knowledge of antiques and collectables, IT skills, eBay knowledge, or just sheer enthusiasm.

Join our friendly and fun retail team today!

Some of the benefits of volunteering with our retail teams...

It's great fun and you'll learn new skills

From dressing windows throughout the seasons, to upcycling items you can partake in it all. You can be as creative as you like and you will pick up new skills along the way!

You will make a difference to the community

You will be supporting St Margaret's Hospice Care to continue to provide care and support to families and inidividual's facing a life limiting illness.

You'll work with a great
team

You will become one of the team, getting to meet new people and making friends, for some this is a great social opportunity as well as supporting a local charity.
