Following electric bike sale, spirited 92-year-old Filomena donated £600 to the hospice!
St Margaret’s takes part in an annual, exhilarating skydiving event inviting anyone over 16* years old to participate in and to fundraise for the hospice. This year on Sunday, 18 August the theme is to dress up as your favourite superhero.
We had a wonderful day of fun and remembrance at the Big Somerset Cricket Bash, raising £3,600 to support hospice care.
Three top county cricketers toured our hospice this week. Somerset County Cricket Club will be supporting our event, the Big Somerset Cricket Bash.
Seven enthusiastic St Margaret's employees cycled to work Tuesday 11 June during Bike Week, collectively covering over 300 miles to arrive at the Taunton hospice site by 9am.
In a burst of colour and joy, 718 participants gathered at Taunton Racecourse for the our hospice Colour Run, raising more than £38,000 on Saturday 18 May.
Karen, from Shapwick near Glastonbury was the lucky winner and has been playing since 2017 with just one weekly ticket. She started playing the Weekly Prize Draw as a way to give back to the hospice after St Margaret’s cared for her late mother and her sister.
Dying Matters Awareness Week is an opportunity for people to talk about death, dying, grief, loss and bereavement.
