The terraced garden of New Wood House has breathtaking views over the Isle Valley, framed by the Quantocks and Blackdown Hills. Recently recreated, building on a good framework from 60 years ago, this enchanting garden features unique and diverse spaces, including a formal Italian garden, rose walks, a nut walk, a wilderness area, and an orchard and arboretum. There are mature rare trees and many interesting recently planted varieties, including unusual oaks, magnolias and American and Chinese specimens.
