What is the Summer Sewing Bee Challenge?

The challenge was to create and transform pre-loved materials, into a new summer themed item, whether that's an item of clothing or an accessory. We asked for a material to be used from one of our 31 shops, whether that's was an old curtain, or a denim jacket, alongside the participant's own items or pre-loved clothing. With a maximum spend of £15 in our shop for new and/or additional materials the challenge, this was the ultimate test of creativity!

The aim of this competition was to have fun and be creative, but also to be more environmentally friendly by re-using and recycling clothing and materials.

We can't wait to see your wonderful creations in our next sewing challenge!
