Kick start the festive season by doing something amazing for St Margaret’s Hospice. Brave the heights of Cheddar Gorge in our 60ft Santa Abseil!
Registration is at Cliff Street car park from 9.30am in Cheddar. From there we will provide you with your Santa suit and drive you further up the gorge to the abseil site. Spectators welcome!
You’ll be surrounded by festive music, cheering friends and family, and fellow fundraisers – while making a real difference to people facing life-limiting illness near you.
By booking your ticket below, you pledge to raise or donate a minimum of £125 to St Margaret’s Hospice by 5 December 2026. We will be in touch with further information and fundraising advice once we receive your booking.
No previous abseiling experience is required – there will be qualified instructors to support you every step of the way.
Courage connects us
Standing at the top of a cliff can feel daunting. Taking that first step takes courage.
Every day, the people we care for face challenges far greater than an abseil. They show incredible courage as they navigate illness, uncertainty, and loss.
By taking on the Santa Abseil, you will be facing your own challenge in support of theirs.
Your fundraising will help St Margaret’s continue providing compassionate care, comfort and support to patients and families across Somerset, helping them make the most of every moment.
