What was the £45 Challenge? In August, we invited local businesses big and small to take part in a fun, meaningful fundraising campaign to support the hospice and mark our 45th year of care.
Here’s how it worked:
- We gave them the starter fund, £45
- They used their networks, creativity and teamwork
- Raised as much money as they could!
- Returned the fund, plus the extra cash raised for hospice care!
Why they took part? The £45 Challenge was more than a fundraiser. It was a chance to:

- Build team spirit and boost engagement

- Support compassionate, local hospice care
