Why we need you
St Margaret’s Hospice Care runs services across the county for adults who have a progressive life limiting illness.
To assess the impact of these services and how they can be improved we continually gather feedback.
What you will be doing
The patient experience volunteer is responsible for interviewing patients or carers about their experiences, to help develop services and maintain quality. This might be in person or over the phone. Using a pre-agreed prompt sheet and making notes about the discussion and responses. On occasion, gathering information from service users to support grant applications.

What we need from you
A patient experience volunteer would be expected to offer around 3-4 hours most weeks. Times can vary each week, but reliability is key.
You are required to attend induction and update training as well as support sessions.
