What to expect on the night
You’ll arrive at the Yeovil Hospice site and take part in a full safety briefing and confidence-building training session led by professional firewalk instructors from UK Firewalk. When you’re ready, you’ll step onto the embers together, supported by our team and fellow challengers.

FAQs
The Firewalk is a supervised charity challenge where you walk barefoot across red-hot embers. It’s held at St Margaret’s Hospice, Yeovil to raise funds for hospice care across Somerset.
The Firewalk takes place on Friday 27 February 2026 at St Margaret’s Hospice in Yeovil (BA20 2HU). The event starts at 6pm.
Entry is £25, and we ask participants to aim for £125 in sponsorship.
Casual comfortable clothes are best. Footwear should be easy to remove and replace.
There is an inherent risk in any activity involving fire. It is important that participants pay attention to
all the training and heed the advice and instruction of the trainer, firewatchers and spotters. Whilst absolute safety
is not guaranteed proper procedure reduces risk to the achievable minimum.
12 years plus. All walkers must listen to the training and a parent or guardian must sign a form if under 18.
