Donate In Memory

We know that losing a loved one is never easy and we are so grateful that you are considering helping St Margaret’s Hospice at this time. There is a lot to think about at a time when you are grieving and for some, finding a lasting way to remember a loved one can be a great comfort.

Donate in memory

Supporting a charity in memory of someone who has died is very personal to each individual. We have several ways you can remember a loved one and give in memory so you can choose the one that’s right for you.

Making a donation in memory of a loved one is a positive way to celebrate life while helping other families to receive our care when they need it most.

Tribute pages

If you have lost a loved one, a tribute page is a timeless way to celebrate their life and remember the good times you shared. Your tribute page could also help to raise vital funds for St Margaret’s, so we can continue to support families across Somerset.

It’s easy to set one up, and you can add your own special photos and messages and choose who you would like to share your tribute page with, inviting friends and family to leave personal messages in your loved one’s memory. People can also donate to St Margaret’s if they wish.   You can do this with a Much Loved page.

Every day in our hospice and across Somerset, we see precious and joyful memories being made. The money you raise through your tribute fund will help us make each day count for our patients and their families.

Arranging collections at funerals

Funeral donations are a particularly meaningful way to remember your loved one while supporting St Margaret’s. For family and friends, making a donation to charity at a funeral can be a way of paying tribute to someone very special while saying thank you to a charity that offered support during a difficult time or was particularly close to their heart.

Some funeral directors will collect money on your behalf and pass it directly to St Margaret’s. Or you might like to set up an online collection by creating a tribute fund, which you can share with extended family and friends who are unable to attend the funeral. Alternatively, you can request donation envelopes directly from us. However you choose to support St Margaret’s at this time, you can rest assured that these gifts will help us to continue providing our vital hospice care for patients and families all over Somerset.

To request donation envelopes or if you have any questions about arranging a funeral collection for your loved one, please contact our Supporter Care team. They can be contacted via email on [email protected]or on 01935 709485
