Day: Shifts available through the week
Location: Taunton Hospice
What you will be doing
- Providing non-medical support, ensuring the best possible service and care for the patient
- Providing a welcoming and relaxing environment for patients and visitors
- Providing hospitality services including drinks for patients and visitors, replenishing water jugs and assisting with serving meals
- Social interaction with patients and visitors putting them at ease. Reporting any worries, concerns or fears expressed either by patients or visitors to the nurses.

What we need from you
- As part of our commitment to safer volunteer recruitment practices, volunteers interested in this role, will be required to provide two references, a DBS & CDLIN check and attend an interview.
- Applicants will need to be 16+ to carry out this volunteer role.
