Join us as an Event Support Volunteer at ColourFest and have an unforgettable experience while helping raise money for hospice care in Somerset.

Time: Various times available between 11am and 10.30pm

Roles: Assisting registration, serving refreshments, manning stalls, handing out medals, selling merchandise, site marshalls, and car park stewards

Why we need you

ColourFest wouldn’t be possible without our incredible volunteers! Your time, energy, and enthusiasm make the event safe, welcoming, and fun for everyone from our youngest runners to evening festival-goers. By volunteering, you’re not just helping the event run smoothly; you’re supporting the vital work of St Margaret’s Hospice Care and helping us create a truly unforgettable day for our community.

What you will be doing

We’ll do our best to match you to a role that suits your interests and availability. Depending on your interests, you could be:

  • Assisting at registration
  • Serving refreshments for participants and their supporters
  • Selling merchandise
  • Helping with car parking to ensure everyone arrives and departs safely
  • Celebrating the achievements of participants by handing out medals
  • Event marshalling to point people in the right direction and help maintain a safe environment, so everyone has a great time.

We’d also love to hear from individuals, corporates or local community groups who can lend a hand with erecting gazebos and setting up equipment on Friday 15 May and packing down on Sunday 17 May.
