This is a relaxed and sociable role, and as a thank-you you’ll receive free entry to the show: the perfect excuse to enjoy a look around, soak up the atmosphere, and admire the displays.
Why we need you
St Margaret’s relies on the support of volunteers at community events across Somerset. Your time helps us raise vital funds to support patients and families across our community, and even a short shift can make a real difference.
This role would suit people who
- Enjoy meeting new people and spending time outdoors
- Are friendly, passionate, and encouraging
- Are comfortable meeting and talking to members of the public
- Are over 18.
Please note – set up and pack down would be simple but requires some carrying and physical work.
What you will be doing
- Selling merchandise
- Encouraging donations to the hospice
- Raising awareness of the hospice
- Supporting with setting up and packing down the stall.
