Why we need you
As a community-funded charity, fundraising is vital to ensure we can continue providing our care across the community. One of our much-loved fundraising initiatives is the Glorious Gardens scheme — a beautiful celebration of nature and community. With the generous support of garden owners who open their gates to the public, this event raises crucial funds for our services.
Every year, more garden owners are getting involved in the scheme. To help the local Community Partnerships Fundraiser assist more garden hosts to plan and prepare their gardens for public viewing, we are looking for enthusiastic, organized individuals to act as local hospice volunteer representatives, helping coordinate and support garden hosts independently in their local areas.
As a Glorious Gardens Area Coordinator Volunteer, you will support garden hosts with planning, preparation and on-the-day event coordination. You will also play an important role in ensuring any volunteers taking part on the day are prepared, feel confident and supported.
