At St Margaret’s, we are fortunate to have a Board of Trustees who go above and beyond in their leadership, guidance, and support, always operating with the best interests of the hospice at heart.
Our thanks go to each and every one of them for their diversity of thought, varied knowledge and practical experience as well as the scrutiny and challenge that they provide. In turn this keeps us on track and delivering impact as a high performing charity.
As volunteers, they give not just their time, but their expertise for free. Often hidden behind the scenes, our Trustees ensure we remain safe, accountable and well governed, and in tune with best practice and the latest innovations. It’s a hugely generous gesture, which is borne out of a desire to empower and enable us as specialists in our field to focus on the day job and deliver the very best hospice care for the people of Somerset.
