On New Year’s Day a spirited group of 200 supporters braved the chilly waters of the Atlantic Ocean, raising over £5.5k and marking the third consecutive year of the St Margaret’s New Year's Day Charity Dip.
"One of the first things she asked me was if I had any goals I’d like to reach, and I replied immediately and said, ‘I want to play my saxophone again.'"
They took us in, showed us our room, said ‘this is a cuddle bed’, and showed us how it worked – as a single bed that folded out to a double. It was the first time we were all able to cuddle Julie properly since April 2021. It was lovely.
