Join our daring double challenge for 2026

We're calling on adrenaline seekers, brave beginners, and long-time New Year’s Day Dippers to take on Fire & Ice: an exciting new challenge that will support local hospice care.

Fire & Ice

Fire & Ice brings together the hugely popular New Year’s Day Dip in Minehead and a brand-new, heart-racing Firewalk at our Yeovil hospice.

You can take part in either event individually, or elevate your challenge by completing both to earn the exclusive title of Fire & Ice Champion and receive a limited-edition medal.

Fire & Ice

The New Year’s Day Dip is one of our most treasured events, and we’re so excited to pair it with a brand new Firewalk for 2026. People can choose whichever challenge suits them – or push themselves further and take on both. Two elements – one incredible impact.”
Shauna Booker, Events Manager

A crucial portion St Margaret’s funding comes from local community support, and events like these ensure the hospice can continue providing free, specialist care to patients and families when they need it most.
