New Year's Day Dip
Date: Thursday 1 January 2026
Location: Minehead seafront, off Warren Road
Time: Registration from 2.30pm, Dip at 3.30pm
Entry fee: £12 online (£15 on the day)
Fundraising pledge: £50
Once registered, participants will gather on the beach for a short welcome and briefing and then run into the sea together for the dip! We’ll be serving free hot drinks to all participants afterwards.

Location: Yeovil, St Margaret’s Hospice
Time: 6pm
Entry fee: £25
Fundraising pledge: £125
Participants will attend a preparation and safety session before taking on the flames! If you took part in the New Year’s Day Dip, you will receive your exclusive Fire & Ice medal.

Fire & Ice is a winter fundraising challenge made up of two events: the New Year’s Day Dip at Minehead Beach (1 January 2026) and the Firewalk at St Margaret’s Hospice, Yeovil (27 February 2026).
You can take on one event or complete both to become a Fire & Ice Champion.
No – you can choose either event on its own, or sign up for the combined Fire & Ice ticket to complete both and earn the medal.
Anyone who completes both the Dip and the Firewalk will receive an exclusive Fire & Ice medal and the title of Fire & Ice Champion.
