Event: Christmas Tree Collection
Date: Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th January 2024
Location: Somerset wide
Shift: 8am – 12pm / 12pm – 4pm
Kick start your New Year by helping us raise vital funds so we can continue to care for patients and their families facing a life-limiting illness across Somerset.
We are looking for enthusiastic and friendly people to join our Christmas Tree Collection Crew, to help ensure the smooth running of this county-wide operation. This is a great opportunity to get out and about, meet new people and be part of a top team supporting your local community. This is a flexible opportunity to give as much or as little time as you would like over the weekend.
Roles include.
- Drivers with own vehicles (van, truck or trailer)
- Tree collector and route navigator
- Refreshments
- Drop off site coordinator
- Tree unloaders
We are also looking for people with woodchippers to help dispose of trees at the drop off sites which are at the following locations.
- Taunton
- Yeovil
- Street
- Chard
- Crowcombe
- Bridgwater / Nether Stowey
- Curry Rivel
