On Friday 4 September in Yeovil, or Friday 11 September in Taunton, you can join us and other bereaved young families for a pizza making evening.
These events are designed for bereaved children and young people, together with their parent or guardian(s), offering a chance to meet other families who understand the experience of losing a loved one.
While making and enjoying pizzas together, you and your family will be able to connect with others, share experiences, and simply enjoy spending time together.
About Samsara
Our Samsara service is part of our Family & Patient Support and Bereavement services. We provide support for patients, their partners, and their young families during illness, and our support continues for families after bereavement through creative activities, one-to-one sessions, and group support.
Grief can often feel isolating, particularly for children and young people. Our Samsara events help families build connections with others who have had similar experiences, creating opportunities for children and young people to develop confidence, build resilience, and form lasting support networks.

Who can attend?
These events are exclusively for families who have received bereavement support through St Margaret’s Hospice Care.
Children and young people who are bereaved are invited to attend alongside their parent or guardian(s).
