We’re thrilled to announce the return of our much-loved Wear it Yellow campaign for 2024, and it’s set to be the most vibrant one yet! From Monday, 7 October to Sunday, 13 October, we’ll be turning Somerset into a sea of yellow during Hospice Care Week, celebrating the vital role hospice care plays across the nation.
How You Can Get Involved:
St Margaret’s invites schools, workplaces, and communities across Somerset to join us in wearing yellow! From local offices to Brownie groups and schools, let’s all come together to show support for hospice care.
This year, we’re shining a spotlight on the retail and fundraising teams who work tirelessly to keep hospice care available. In fact, hospices nationwide now raise more funds from second-hand goods than they receive from government funding. We need your help to send a strong message to Westminster: it’s time for change.

From yellow-themed office decor to lemon bake-offs, there are endless ways to join the fun. St Margaret’s is offering free fundraising packs to help you get started! Pick yours up on our website, or visit one of our 31 charity shops across Somerset to find your perfect yellow outfit.
Plus, don’t forget—you can even book a visit from our mascot, Busy Bee!

Our Goal: £10,000
Sponsored by Yellow Peach, we’ve set an ambitious goal to raise £10,000 during Wear it Yellow. Staff and volunteers will be hitting the streets in yellow to collect donations and raise awareness for the incredible work hospices do.
