Volunteers are an essential part of the team at St Margaret’s Hospice and thanks to their generosity of time, energy and skills, we can care for 4,900 people across Somerset, every year.
Our volunteers have chosen to give us their time for many different reasons. For some it’s a chance to give something back and for others it’s a way of enhancing their CV.
If you are looking for a voluntary role in Somerset, no matter how much time you have to commit, St Margaret’s needs you! Below is a list of available volunteer roles we have across the hospice, please click on the picture to find out more.
If you have a skill that you can't see in any of our role descriptions, please contact us at email@example.com and we'll do our best to match up your skills to a role.
Our bereavement support team of trained volunteers provide on-going support to families, carers and close friends who have been affected by the illness and death of a St Margaret’s patient.
Our shops could not run without volunteers. The roles they carry out include serving customers, working behind the till, and sorting donations, to pricing and displaying stock.
Contribute to the strategic governance of St Margaret's Hospice Care.
