Role Purpose:

This role will enable St. Margaret’s Hospice to increase income through collections or bag packing at supermarkets, high streets and sports venues across the county.

Role Description:

  • Covering a minimum of one collection/packing slot on the day, if possible
  • Encouraging visitors to donate to the charity using the collection materials provided
  • Ensuring the money you collect is done so safely and is handed back, along with fundraising materials, at the end of your collection - you will not need to count or bank any money yourself
  • Representing St. Margaret’s Hospice to those you come into contact with 

Personal Specification:

No special qualifications or experience needed. The role may be ideal for you if:

  • You enjoy meeting people and are happy collecting for two hours
  • You are keen to raise vital funds for people living with a life-limiting illness
  • You want to help with fundraising in your local area
  • Please note you are not required to approach people to donate

Role Requirement:

  • Minimum of one hour at each collection
  • 6 month commitment if possible

  • ID badge and branded t-shirt
  • Out of pocket expenses will be paid
