Watch it on YouTube & Facebook
Light up a Life is traditionally the time where we gather for a simple service of remembrance, thinking about those we have loved and lost, sharing our grief with others; but also celebrating the very special place they had in our lives.
This year's Light up a Life event will be held online and everyone in our community is welcome.
We are delighted to have been given permission to broadcast this special event from the Bishop’s Chapel in the Bishop’s Palace by the Right Reverend Peter Hancock, Bishop of Bath and Wells. There will be a short service of readings and music. Every name dedication we receive before 27 November will be shown during the broadcast.
We know that for many families, it is impossible to all gather in one place at one time. We hope that, by holding our service online this year, we will make it possible for every family to share in a moving, uplifting community event. I sincerely hope you will be able to join us.
If you’re not able to join us at this time, don’t worry - the service will be available to watch on both YouTube and Facebook at any time after the event has finished.
