To leave a gift to St Margaret's Hospice, simply provide our name and registered charity number (as listed below) to your solicitor when making or updating your Will:

It is completely up to you if you would like to inform St Margaret’s that you intend to leave a gift to us in your Will. If you do let us know, we’ll send you an exclusive pledger sunflower pin badge, and you can choose to receive updates from us to hear about the work we do and learn how your legacy would make a difference.

Free Will Month
Every March, St Margaret’s partners with solicitors from across Somerset to offer a free Will writing service. As part of our campaign you can get a free basic single or mirror Will. Whether your Will is basic or not will depend on the amount of work the solicitor needs to do to prepare it. Your solicitor can advise you if your wishes require extra work, which will incur a cost, and you can pay them directly for this.
You can take up the offer of a free Will by contacting one of our participating solicitors directly between 1st and 31st March. The list of solicitors taking part in the scheme is published in February each year, so please contact us then to find out more or express your interest by contacting us using the details below.

We’ve also partnered with Kwil, an online service that allows you to create your Will from the comfort of your own home. The service is free to use, completely secure and confidential. You can access Kwil at any time so, unless you need to consult with a solicitor, you don’t have to wait until March to create your Will for free. Click here to learn more.
