The Great Somerset Cycle 2020 - Terms and Conditions

If, for reasons out of our control, this event cannot go ahead it may be postponed or cancelled. Anyone who has purchased a ticket will be contacted as soon as this decision is made and notified of next steps.

  • All participants must complete the online entry form and pay the relevant fee due.
  • The booking fee is non-refundable and contributes to the cost of staging the event.
  • We ask that those taking part raise sponsorship in aid of St Margaret's Hospice Care.
  • If, for reasons out of our control, this event cannot go ahead it may be postponed or cancelled. Anyone who has purchased a ticket will be contacted as soon as this decision is made and notified of next steps.
  • By registering for this event you are agreeing that any official photographs taken can be used by St Margaret's Hospice Care for any promotional purposes. If you would like to take part in this event and want to opt out of being in any official photographs please contact us after booking.
  • Please note that the data consents and preferences you indicate on your registration will be applied to all team members you are registering.
  • Parents and guardians are advised to consider their child before booking. Parents are responsible for their child/children's safety.
  • St Margaret's Hospice Care has taken all reasonable steps to eliminate the chance of injury but there is a certain minimal risk in every activity and you should withdraw from the event if you have any doubts. St Margaret's Hospice Care, its employees, agents and volunteers accept no liability whatsoever to participants or spectators in respect of any loss, damage or personal injury which may be sustained in the course of this event other than personal injury (including death) caused by our negligence. Liability cannot be accepted for any damage, injury or loss arising from the negligence of participants (whether through failure to observe the rules of the event or otherwise).
  • This event is open to anyone over the age of 12.
  • Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult registered to take part in the event.
  • The event has been organised with safety being paramount but, by entering the Great Somerset Cycle, you do so entirely at your own risk.
  • This event is not a timed event.
  • Please ensure that you wear appropriate clothing and appropriate footwear.
  • Please ensure that your bike is suitable for this event and the distance being travelled. There will be mechanical support on the day.
  • By booking a place at the Great Somerset Cycle, you are opting in to receive communications about this event.
