|What will you be doing
Assisting garden owners with their events.
Countywide available, location to be decided on application.
Various times throughout the Glorious Garden Season.
TBC when gardens are finalised.
You will be responsible for offering assistance to the garden owners on the day of their opening. Tasks could include:
- Taking entry monies
- Serving refreshments
- Running raffles and tombola
- Helping with plant sales
You will be able to decline any task you are unable to undertake. Volunteers are able to be seated if taking entry money.
Communication skills, promotional and marketing skills, first aid training and events training available if required, but not compulsory.
No special qualifications or experience is needed. The role will be ideal for you if:
- You have a keen interest in gardening
- You enjoy meeting people
- You are confident in cash handling
- You are able to drive or have access to transport
