We are recruiting a qualified full time Chef to join our catering team at our Yeovil Hospice to deliver a high class service to our patients and staff.

Our catering team can transform mealtimes for our patients who may have previously lost their appetites due to their condition or treatment. You must therefore be able to effectively and efficiently prepare freshly made meals of a consistently high standard both in content and presentation, under the direction of the Head Chef and in line with Food Hygiene Regulations.

If you support our vision to deliver a first rate service to our patients, families and staff, are passionate about the delivery of exceptional service and you have a pro-active approach, we would be delighted to hear from you.

It is a requirement that you have NVQ 2 in Professional Cookery or equivalent, and a Level 2 Food Hygiene Course would be desirable.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and a Standard Disclosure application will be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check previous spent and unspent convictions that are not subject to filtering rules introduced on 29 May 2013.
