Will you walk over hot coals for your local hospice?

Our popular Firewalk event has returned and on Saturday 19 February we will be welcoming up to 100 daredevil supporters complete the hottest sponsored walk! 

Invite your friends and family to watch you walk barefoot over a path of fiery coals burning at 500-600 degrees Celcius.  

You will receive expert training by Scott Bell, twice Guinness world record holder for the greatest fire walk distance. He is internationally known as one of the world’s leading experts on fire walking.

After you have successfully completed your walk there will be a BBQ and refreshments available.

St Margaret’s Hospice Care reserves the right to refuse participation in the event if the minimum amount required has not been raised.

£100 could pay for a specialist community nurse visit for one of our local patients being cared for at home.

Mike has been supported by a number of different teams from the hospice, from community nurse specialists to the In-patient Unit in Taunton. “All the staff and volunteers do a fantastic job, you never feel like any problem is too big or small, they will always help you and give you advice if you need it and not just physical but emotional support too.” says Mike.  

As well as end of life care Mike is also receiving his immunotherapy at the Yeovil Hospice hub, from the Yeovil District Hospital Haematology and Oncology Department.
