St. Margaret's Hospice is delighted to announce that Southern India will be the destination for their next overseas trek! Taking place from February 2nd - 12th 2019, this will be an unforgettable experience, while raising crucial funds for the hospice.

Come and find out more...

We would like to invite anyone who is interested in this trek to an information evening on Wednesday 2nd August, at 6pm, at St. Margaret's Yeovil Hospice (Little Tarrat Lane, Yeovil, BA20 2HU).

Different Travel Co. will be presenting the details of the trek and answering any questions you may have. We will also be hearing from one of St. Margaret's previous trekkers, who will be giving an account of their exciting experiences trekking in Peru, Nepal and Vietnam. Refreshments will be provided.

If you would like to attend, please register for your free space below. We would love to see you there!

The challenge

The adventure starts at a Children's Cancer Centre and Hospice facility in Trivandrum where you'll make a real difference through hands-on tasks such as painting, decorating and refurbishment. After your hard work at the project, you will begin the 4-day trek through the highest tea estate in the world, across the foothills to the summit of the second highest peak in South India, and through the rolling grassland and natural brooks of the Western Ghats.

The cost

There is a £370 registration fee to pay at the time of booking to secure your place. You are then required to raise a minimum of £3,500 sponsorship for St. Margaret's Hospice. Support and fundraising ideas will be provided by staff to help you reach, and even exceed, your target.
