Taunton Soroptimist Swimathon is back for it’s 32nd year and St Margaret’s Hospice Care have been selected again as one of the benefitting charities.
It doesn’t matter whether you are 8 or 80 and whether you swim fast or slow, do crawl or doggy-paddle, so long as you can rustle up a team of six, you can take part in this Swimathon. It is one of the most successful fundraising events in the South West since 1988 and over £650,520 has been given directly to a variety of local charities.
Every swimmer gets a medal and there are a number of trophies to be won for teams raising the most sponsorship money or swimming the most lengths.
